NOTICE OF INTENDED DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Charnwood Borough Council intends to dispose of an area of land consisting of or forming part of an open space.
The land to which this notice relates is:
An area of land to the west side of Charnwood Campus, Loughborough forming part of title number LT427166 and measuring approximately 10.68 acres.
The proposed disposal is:
The freehold transfer of land for the purpose of the installation and operation of solar array and to support the social and economic objectives of the local community and the Science, Innovation and Technology Park.
A plan showing the land to which the proposed disposal relates to may be viewed on the Council's website at www.charnwood.gov.uk/publicnotices or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk.
Any representations or objections to the proposed disposal must be made in writing to:
asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk stating the reasons for such objections, by no later than (Wednesday 23 September 2026).
