Notice is given under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that Severn Trent MIS Trustees Limited, Trustee of the Severn Trent Water Mirror Image Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”), is winding up the Scheme.
The winding-up commenced on 25 June 2026. The Trustee wishes to trace anyone who believes they were a member of the Scheme, including former employees of Severn Trent Water Limited, anyone who believes they are a beneficiary of the Scheme (including a widow, widower, surviving civil partner, dependant or other beneficiary of a deceased member), and anyone who believes they have any claim against, entitlement to a pension or benefit from, or interest in the Scheme.
Any person who has already been contacted by the Trustee, is receiving a pension from the Scheme, or has previously made a claim and received a response need take no action.
Any person with an entitlement, claim or interest who has not been contacted should send details, including their name, address, National Insurance number, employment dates and any supporting documents, to Severn Trent Group Pensions, Severn Trent, 2 St John’s Street, Coventry CV1 2LZ, or group.pensions@severntrent.co.uk. Claims must be received by 1 November 2026. After that date, the Trustee will deal with the Scheme assets having regard only to claims and entitlements of which it has received notice and will not be liable to any person whose claim or entitlement has not been notified by that date.
