What is happening?

Bristol Water Region

Independent Water Networks Ltd (IWNL) gives notice that, pursuant to sections 76 and 76A-C of the Water Industry Act 1991, the following uses of water supplied by IWNL are restricted.

Water a garden using a hosepipe

Cleaning a private motor-vehicle using a hosepipe

Watering plants on domestic or other noncommercial premises using a hosepipe

Cleaning a private leisure boat using a hosepipe

Filling or maintain a domestic swimming or paddling pool

Drawing water, using a hosepipe, for domestic recreational use

Filling or maintaining a domestic pond using a hosepipe

Filling or maintaining an ornamental fountain

Cleaning walls, or windows, or a domestic premises using a hosepipe

Cleaning paths or patios using a hosepipe

Cleaning other artificial outdoor surfaces using a hosepipe

Water restrictions will start at 00:01 on the 28th August 2026 and continue until further notification.

The restrictions applies in the areas of supply of Axbridge Road (BS27), Barry Road (BS30), Bath Road, Keynsham (BS31), Bonnington Walk (BS7), City Gateway (BS3), Cribbs Causeway (BS10), Crossways, Morton Way (BS35), Dovercourt Road (BS7), Elm Close, Wells (BA5), Engine Lane (BS48), Fishpool Hill (BS10), Helliers Lane (BS27), Herkomer Close (BS7), Imperial Park (BS13), Isleport Road (TA9), Land to the East of The Boulevard (BS14), Little Keyford Lane (BA11), Lower Hambrook (Phase 2) (BS34), Netherton Wood Lane (BS48), New Fosseway Road (BS14), Parklands (BS24), Parkview (BS14), Rectory Farm (BS49), Rodney Road (BS48).
