What is happening?

LONDON BOROUGH OF HARINGEY

LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 Section 122 (2A)

Notice is hereby given that the Mayor and the Burgesses of the London Borough of Haringey intends to appropriate land on land in front of 26-70 Tiverton Road; and nearby surrounding areas shown edged red in the plan below, to facilitate the development of Tiverton Estate Housing Scheme.

Under these proposals, land at Parcel ‘A’ as indicated on below plan will be affected by the construction of new homes at Tiverton Estate. The scheme will also include improved quality of nearby spaces as annotated on red line plan, parcels: ‘B’, ‘C’, ‘D’ and ‘E’.

A plan showing the location of the area that is proposed to be appropriated is available for inspection between 9.00 and 17:00 Monday to Friday at the offices of Haringey Council, Alexandra House, 10 Station Road, Wood Green, London N22 7TR

Under the provisions of Section 122(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 any person wishing to object to the intended appropriation should set out details of such objection in writing to Haringey Housing Delivery Team at Engagement@haringey.gov.uk or For the attention of Haringey Housing Delivery Team Haringey Council Alexandra House 10 Station Road Wood Green, London N22 7TR

Objections must be received no later than 17.00pm on 25th September 2026
