LAND AT JERSEY WHARF, ANCOATS, ALSO KNOWN AS MOZART CLOSE MANCHESTER
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Manchester City Council intends to dispose of open space land having a total area of approximately 0.72 Acres. The land is approximately located at around 2 miles north east of Manchester City Centre in the ward of Ancoats. It is bound by Rochdale Canal to the south, Jersey Street to the west and to the north are residential dwelling on Mozart Close. The land (shown edged Green on the attached plan) is currently being used as a site compound by Manchester Life Development Company 3 Limited for the Jersey Wharf and Eliza Yard development.
The land described above is more particularly shown edged green on the deposited plan, which may be inspected at Customer Service Centre Ground Floor, Town Hall Extension, M60 2LA (for Sat. Nav. use M2 5DB) between the hours of 9.00am and 4.30pm on Monday to Friday inclusive. If you are unable to attend, a copy of the plan may be requested (without payment) by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to me at the address below or by emailing phlegal@manchester.gov.uk so as to be received no later than 29th September 2026.
