What is happening?
NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27 OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925 BURNS INTERNATIONAL SECURITY SERVICES (UK) LIMITED DEFINED RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS SCHEME (“the SCHEME”)
The Trustee of the Scheme hereby gives notice for the purpose section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 that the Scheme will shortly be wound up.
The Trustee of the Scheme wishes to trace any persons who believe that they may have any right to benefits from the Scheme.
If you have been contacted by the Trustee or have received correspondence from the Trustee in the last two years, or if you are currently in receipt of a pension from the Scheme, there is no need to respond to this notice.
Any such persons should write to the following address giving full details of their claim and any benefits that they think they are entitled to, including their full name, address, national insurance number, dates of employment, and copies of any relevant documents:

Any claim must be registered with the Trustee by 14 November 2026.
After that date, the Trustee will have no liability to any person claiming an entitlement under the Scheme whose claim was not notified to the Trustees by 14 November 2026 and the Scheme will be wound up accordingly.
