What is happening?
Hackney Carriage
Cornwall Council in accordance with the provisions of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 HEREBY GIVES NOTICE of its intention to vary the North Cornwall Hackney Carriage Zone Fare Tariff by adding the below extra charge with effect from 21 September 2026.
Extra Charges Maximum discretionary booking charge for pre-bookings only, which must be agreed with the hirer at the time of booking
All Tariffs £20
A copy of this notice is available for inspection during normal office hours at the Council Offices in Truro for the next 14 days.
Any objection to the introduction of the above booking charge should be received by the undersigned by no later than 16 September 2026.
