Notice is hereby given under sections 123 (1 and 2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that The Mayor and Burgesses of the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea intends to make a disposal of open space land at Meanwhile Gardens London W2 by way of a lease for a term of 20 years within the provisions of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1954 for use as a plant nursery, mulching area, open space, recreational land, play hut, Mind shed, skateboard bowl, temporary uses associated with the Carnival, and not for profit community activities and classes.
This land is referred to in this notice as "the Open Space Land".
The Open Space Land has an area of approximately 3.67 acres (1.485 hectares). A copy of the plan of the Open Space Land can be provided upon request by emailing: SocialInvestment@rbkc.gov.uk
This is a formal notice given insofar as this land consists or forms part of an open space within the meaning of the above sections.
Any objection to the intended disposal must be made in writing, stating the grounds for objections, using one of the following ways:
