NOTICE UNDER SECTION 27(1) OF THE TRUSTEE ACT 1925

THE THAMES WATER FUNDED UNAPPROVED RETIREMENT AND DEATH BENEFITS SCHEME

Notice is hereby given by the Trustee of the Thames Water Funded Unapproved Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme (the Scheme) pursuant to section 27(1) of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Scheme is being wound up. The benefits for all executive members have been secured.

The Scheme was established as a top-up arrangement to provide supplementary benefits for certain executive employees of Thames Water Limited. The Scheme is entirely separate from the Thames Water Pension Scheme and Thames Water Mirror Image Pension Scheme. This notice does not relate to or affect those schemes or their members in any way.

The Trustee requests that any former executive who believes that they may have a claim against the Scheme, provides written particulars of any such entitlement or claim (together with their full name, present address, date of birth and confirmation of years of employment as an executive member) within two months of the date of the publication of this notice, to:

Thames Water Senior Executive Pension Trustees Limited (Company number 02457748) whose registered office is at Clearwater Court, Vastern Road, Reading, Berkshire, RG1 8DB.

After the two month period has ended, the Trustee will complete the winding-up of the Scheme and, in doing so, will have regard only to the claims of which it currently has notice. The Trustee shall then not be liable to any person whose claim has not been notified to it by end of the two month period set out in this notice.

For and on behalf of the Thames Water Funded Unapproved Retirement and Death Benefits Scheme and its Trustee.
