PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given pursuant to Section 123 Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by section 118 Local Government, Planning and Land Act 1980) of the Council’s intention to dispose of public open space land located at Rice Lane Recreational Ground, Rice Lane, Liverpool, L9 2BL by granting easements for underground electricity lines with associated rights for the purpose of access to and maintenance of the cables.
Persons wishing to view the plan of the land described above between the hours of 9.00a.m. and 5.00p.m. Monday to Friday should contact the address shown below to arrange inspection or email NewPropCase@liverpool. gov.uk.
Any representations or objections with respect to the disposal should be made in writing to the Property and Regeneration Team, Legal Services, 4th Floor, Cunard Building, Water Street, Liverpool, L3 1AH (quoting reference Legal/AI/21660648) no later than 10am on 11th September 2026. Please state the grounds on which any representation or objection is made.
