Andover - Proposed Disposal of Public Open Space by Freehold Sale

NOTICE OF DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE TEST VALLEY BOROUGH COUNCIL LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED) SECTION 123(2A)

PUBLIC OPEN SPACE COMPRISING LAND TO THE REAR OF THE TOWN MILLS PUBLIC HOUSE AND LAND TO THE REAR OF 20 TOWN MILLS, TOWN MILLS, ANDOVER, HAMPSHIRE, SP10 1BL

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN under Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended) that Test Valley Borough Council being the owner of the parcels of land described below which is held as public open space proposes to dispose of the below land by freehold sale. The land comprises:

1. Land to the rear of the Town Mills Public House, Town Mills, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 1BL extending to approximately 425.9 square metres; and

2. Land to the rear of 20 Town Mills, Town Mills, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 1BL extending to approximately 140.9 square metres.

A copy of the plan identifying the land may be inspected at the reception desk of Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3AJ, or requested by email from legal@testvalley.gov.uk. Any objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing and addressed to the Head of Legal and Democratic Services, Test Valley Borough Council, Beech Hurst, Weyhill Road, Andover, Hampshire, SP10 3AJ or legal@testvalley.gov.uk by 4th September 2026.
