Greater Cambridge Local Plan – Proposed Submission Public Consultation

Cambridge City Council and South Cambridgeshire District Council are working
together to create a joint Local Plan for their combined districts, which we are
referring to as Greater Cambridge, for the period 2024 to 2045.
The Councils have published the ‘Greater Cambridge Local Plan - Proposed
Submission’ for consultation. The Councils are also consulting on the Proposed
Submission Policies Map, and the accompanying Sustainability Appraisal
(incorporating the requirements of Strategic Environmental Assessment) and
Habitats Regulations Assessment. This is the Regulation 19 stage under the Town
and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012.
