VARIATION OF THE TABLE OF FARES FOR HACKNEY CARRIAGES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Council proposes to vary the table of fares for the hiring of hackney carriages plying for hire within the District of Malvern Hills to that set out below:

| Equivalent to: Each subsequent mile | £3.00 | £4.50 | £6.00 |
| Waiting time — For each period of one minute or uncompleted part thereof | 30p | 45p | 60p |
| Extra Charge — For each passenger in excess of two | 20p |
TARIFF 1
For hiring’s on any date except as shown below
TARIFF 2
For hiring’s begun between 12 midnight and 07:00 hrs and for hiring’s on Sundays, Christmas Eve, New Year’s Eve and Bank Holidays
TARIFF 3
For hiring’s on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Year’s Day
Any objections to the proposed variation of the table of fares can be made in writing to the address shown below. Objections must be received no later than 21st August 2026.
If no objections are received or are received but later withdrawn, the new table of fares will apply with effect from 22nd August 2026.
If objections are received and not withdrawn, these will be considered by the Council before a decision is taken in relation to varying the table of fares.
