CYN GYNGOR SIR MORGANNWG GANOL MAP A DATGANIAD DIFFINIOL BWRDEISTREF MERTHYR TUDFUL GORCHYMYN ADDASU MAP DIFFINIOL TROEDYRHIW 206 2026

Bydd y Gorchymyn uchod a wnaed ar Orffennaf 29ain 2026, os cadarnhawyd ei fod wedi’i wneud, yn addasu’r map a’r datganiad diffiniol ar gyfer yr ardal drwy ychwanegu atynt y llwybr troed sy’n dechrau yn SO05720383, ei gyffordd â’r briffordd gynnal yn Rhes yr Afon, Abercanaid, ac yn mynd ymlaen am oddeutu 15 metr i gyfeiriad cyffredinol y gogleddddwyrain i gyfeirnod grid SO05720383. Yna mae’n troi i gyfeiriad cyffredinol tua’r de-ddwyrain ac yn parhau am oddeutu 33 metr i orffen yng nghyfeirnod grid SO05750382, sef ei gyffordd â llwybr troed Hawl Tramwy Cyhoeddus Troedyrhiw 118. Mae’r llwybr troed oddeutu 48 metr o hyd gyda lled rhwng 1.5 a 2 fetr. Tarmacadam yw’r wyneb yn bennaf.

Rhaid anfon unrhyw gynrychiolaeth neu wrthwynebiad i’r Gorchymyn yn ysgrifenedig at y llofnodwr isod erbyn Medi 18fed 2026 a gofynnir i ymgeiswyr nodi’r rhesymau y caiff ei wneud.

Os na wneir unrhyw sylwadau neu wrthwynebiadau’n briodol i’r Gorchymyn, nac i unrhyw ran ohono, neu os tynnir unrhyw un a wnaed felly yn ôl, caiff Cyngor Bwrdeistref Sirol Merthyr Tudful, yn hytrach na chyflwyno’r Gorchymyn i Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru, ei hun gadarnhau’r Gorchymyn. Os cyflwynir y Gorchymyn i Gynulliad Cenedlaethol Cymru, anfonir unrhyw sylwadau neu wrthwynebiadau sydd wedi’u tynnu’n ôl gydag ef.

NOTICE OF MODIFICATION ORDER
Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981
THE FORMER MID GLAMORGAN COUNTY COUNCIL
DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT BOROUGH OF MERTHYR TYDFIL
TROEDYRHIW 206 DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2026

The above Order made on 29th July 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by adding to them the footpath that commences at SO05720383, its junction with the maintainable highway at River Row, Abercanaid, and proceeds for approximately 15 metres in a general north-easterly direction to grid reference SO05720383. It then turns to a general south-easterly direction and continues for approximately 33 metres to terminate at grid reference SO05750382, its junction with Public Right of Way footpath Troedyrhiw 118. The footpath is approximately 48 metres in length with a width of between 1.5 and 2 metres. The surface is predominantly tarmacadam.

A copy of the order and the order map may be seen by contacting ROF@ merthyr.gov.uk. Copies of the order and map may be bought at the price of £10. Any representation or objection to the Order must be sent in writing to the undersigned by 18th September 2026 and applicants are requested to state the grounds on which it is made.

If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or to any part of it, or if any so made are withdrawn, the Merthyr Tydfil County Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the National Assembly for Wales may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the National Assembly for Wales, any representations or objections which have been withdrawn will be sent with it.
