Control of Sex Establishments

Notice is hereby given that South Norfolk Council has passed a resolution that Schedule 3 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1982 (as amended by s.27 of the Policing and Crime Act 2009) shall come into force in the District with effect from 1 September 2026.

The general effect of the revised schedule is to incorporate “Sexual Entertainment Venues” within the categories of sex establishments regulated by the Authority under the Act.
