Water Resources Act 1991 - (As Amended By The Water Act 2003) - Notice Of Application For A Transfer Licence To Abstract (Take) Water

J. Murphy and Sons Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a Licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is for a Licence to Abstract Water from Alluvium and Kempton Park Gravel Member at: Brimsdown substation, Enfield between National Grid References: - TQ 36860 98299, TQ 36885 98274, TQ 37036 97969 and TQ 36758 97946 to transfer it to the Small River Lee at: National Grid Reference: - TQ 37023 97975 without intervening use.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

- 2000 cubic metres a day

- 730,500 cubic metres a year.

Abstraction will take place until 30th June 2029.

The associated discharge permit application number is EPR/QP3724MT/A001.
