Notice to creditors and beneficiaries under Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925

MCMULLEN MANAGER PENSION SCHEME (Scheme)

Notice is hereby given by the Trustees of the McMullen Managers Pension Scheme (Trustees), pursuant to Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, that the Trustees are in the process of winding-up the Scheme following the securing of members' benefits with Aviva Life & Pensions UK Limited (company number: 03253947) (Insurer).

Winding-up the scheme involves the Trustees taking the necessary steps to formally bring the Scheme to a close.

The Scheme`s winding-up will not be completed until the Insurer has assumed responsibility for paying the pension benefits owed to members in relation to the Scheme, together with any potential future benefits payable to a spouse, dependant or other potential beneficiaries. Until that time, the Trustees will remain responsible for the administration of the Scheme.

The Trustees wish to identify and contact any person who is or was a member of the Scheme, or who is a spouse, civil partner or other dependant of such a person, or any other indivdual who believes that they have a claim against, or an entitlement to a pension, benefit or other interest in the Scheme.

Any such person is requested to write to the Trustees at the address set out below, providing full particulars of their claim or entitlement. This should include (where relevant) their full name, current address, date of birth, National insurance number, details of the period of employment to which the claim relates, and the full name of the Scheme, together with copies of any documents supporting the claim, All information must be received by the Trustees no later than 24 September 2026.

After the expiry of two months from the date of publication of this notice (being 24th September 2026), the Trustees will proceed with the winding-up of the Scheme and will distribute the assets of the Scheme among the persons entitled to them, having regard only to the claims and interests of which the Trustees have received notice. The trustees shall not be liable, in respect of the Scheme or the assets so distributed, to any person whose claim or entitlement has not been notified to the Trustees by that date.

Important: This notice is not relevant to individuals currently receiving a pension from the Scheme, or those who have already been contacted by or on behalf of the Trustees in relation to the winding-up. The Trustees already hold details of those entitlements, which will be satisfied in full.
