GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given that Mole Valley District Council (the Council) pursuant to powers under Section 123 Local Government Act 1972, as amended, intends to dispose of open space by way of a surrender of the 2 existing leases and regrant of a new 25 year lease of the tennis courts and pavilion at Ashtead Recreation Ground, Surrey shown edged red on the plan (the Open Space Land) to Ashtead Tennis Players Club Ltd.
The new lease of the Open Space Land is on the same footprint as the existing leases. INSPECTION OF PLAN
A plan showing the Open Space Land edged red, is available for inspection free of charge Monday to Friday during usual business hours at the Council Offices, Pippbrook, Reigate Road, Dorking or you can request a copy of the plan by email to property@molevalley.gov.uk quoting the reference "Ashtead Tennis Club lease plan" OBJECTIONS
Any objections to the proposed disposal of the Open Space Land only should be made in writing to Andrew Heard, Senior Asset Manager, Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking, RH4 1SJ or by email to property@molevalley.gov.uk by 5pm on 11th August 2026.
