SECTION 53 OF THE WILDLIFE AND COUNTRYSIDE ACT 1981

MODIFICATION APPLICATION FOR THE ADDITION TO THE STATEMENT OF PARTICULARS AND THE DEFINITIVE MAP TO ANTINGHAM FOOTPATH NO. 3 IN THE PARISH OF ANTINGHAM

NOTICE OF CONFIRMATION OF AN ORDER

The above Order, made on 25th July 2024, was confirmed by Norfolk County Council as an unopposed Order on 2nd July 2026.

The effect of the Order will modify the particulars of the Definitive Statement and Map to add a stile to Antingham Footpath No.3 at grid reference TG 2584 3265, with the Statement reading as follows:

Footpath No. 3 (Southrepps Road to The Hill) Starts from Southrepps Road (C290) near St. Margaret’s Church at grid reference TG 2538 3288 and runs south eastwards to a stile at grid reference TG 2584 3265 and then eastwards to The Hill (U14438) at grid reference TG 2593 3264. Limitations and Conditions: Stile at grid reference TG 2584 3265.

A copy of the Order and Order Map may be seen free of charge at County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, Norfolk, NR1 2SG and at the offices of North Norfolk District Council – Council Offices, Holt Road, Cromer, Norfolk, NR27 9EN during normal office hours or purchased at a cost of £5.00 from the undersigned.

The Order took effect on the 2nd July 2026 but if a person aggrieved by the Order desires to question its validity, or the validity of any provision contained in it, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981, or on the grounds that any requirement of Schedule 15 of that Act, or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order they may, under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 to the Act, make an application for that purpose to the High Court not later than 1st September 2026.
