CLEAN AIR ACT 1993

BRIGHTON & HOVE SMOKE CONTROL ORDERS (REVOCATION) ORDER 2026

The Brighton & Hove City Council makes this Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 18 of, and Schedule 1 to, the Clean Air Act 1993 as modified by section 67(2) of, and parts II and III of Schedule 5 to, that Act:

  1. This Order may be cited as Brighton & Hove City Council Smoke Control Orders (Revocation) Order 2026.
  2. This Order shall come into effect not less than 6 months from the date this Order is confirmed by the Secretary of State.
  3. The smoke control orders specified in Schedule 1 to this Order are hereby revoked.
