OPEN SPACE DISPOSAL NOTICE Section 123(2A), Local Government Act 1972 Charnwood Borough Council
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN in accordance with section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Charnwood Borough Council intends to dispose of an area of land consisting of or forming part of an open space.
The land to which this notice relates is:
• Land at Woodthorpe, Loughborough LE11 2HT
The proposed disposal is: Transfer of freehold land for the purpose of providing an extension to the Arc Community Hub and ancillary use. A plan showing the land to which the proposed disposal relates to may be viewed on the Council’s website at www. charnwood.gov.uk/PublicNotices or by requesting a copy of the same by sending an email to asset.management@ charnwood.gov.uk.
Any representations or objections to the proposed disposal must be made in writing to: asset.management@charnwood.gov.uk stating the reasons for such objections, by no later than Wednesday 5 August 2026
