IWNL Anglian Water Region - Temporary Hosepipe Restrictions
What is happening?
Independent Water Networks Ltd (IWNL) gives notice that, pursuant to sections 76 and 76A–C of the Water Industry Act 1991, the following uses of water supplied by IWNL are restricted.
- Water a garden using a hosepipe
- Cleaning a private motor-vehicle using a hosepipe
- Watering plants on domestic or other non-commercial premises using a hosepipe
- Cleaning a private leisure boat using a hosepipe
- Filling or maintaining a domestic swimming or paddling pool
- Drawing water, using a hosepipe, for domestic recreational use
- Filling or maintaining a domestic pond using a hosepipe
- Filling or maintaining an ornamental fountain
- Cleaning walls, or windows, or a domestic premises using a hosepipe
- Cleaning paths or patios using a hosepipe
- Cleaning other artificial outdoor surfaces using a hosepipe

Water restrictions will start at 00:01 on the Sunday 12th July 2026 and continue until further notification. The restrictions apply to all Anglian Water regions;
