NOTICE TO MISSING FREEHOLDER/LANDLORD
We the undersigned solicitors are trying to trace the whereabouts of the Freeholder/Landlord of the property situate in and known as Millstone Cottage, Bolton Road, Anderton, Chorley PR6 9HJ (“the Property”).
The Property is subject to a lease dated 18 September 1924 for a term of 999 years from 12 May 1924 and made between (1) Joseph Cockshott and Edith Isobel Noblet and (2) Elizabeth Sherbourne.
The owner of the leasehold interest is David James Boundy and he wishes to exercise his right to acquire the freehold under Leasehold Reform Act 1967 (“the Act”). An application has been made to the County Court at Preston under claim number N01MA334 for an order vesting the freehold of the Property to David James Boundy under Section 27 of the Act since David James Boundy has been unable to give Notice to the Freeholder/Landlord because their whereabouts cannot be ascertained.
