Notice of Intention to Dispose of Open Space Land at: HILLHOUSE, NINEFIELDS, WALTHAM ABBEY
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN pursuant to the provisions of Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that Essex County Council intends to dispose of an area of open space land extending to 0.852ha (2.11 acres) being land lying to the west of Hillhouse for development of Independent Living Older Persons Apartments.
Copies of a plan showing the approximate location of the affected land edged red may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours Monday to Friday at County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford, CM1 1QH.
Any objections or representations regarding the intended disposal must be made either by email to extracare@essex.gov.uk, or in writing and addressed to Head of Property, Essex County Council County Hall, Market Road, Chelmsford, Essex, CM1 1QH no later than 7 August 2026. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
