NOTICE OF MAKING OF PUBLIC PATH AND DEFINITIVE MAP AND STATEMENT MODIFICATION ORDERS

- The Oxfordshire County Council, Aston Rowant Footpath No. 1 (part), Public Path Creation and Definitive Map and Statement Modification Order 2026
The Diversion Order made on 15 June 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by diverting, as shown on the Order map:
Aston Rowant FP1 running from OS Grid Ref SU 7386 9973 north-eastwards for 99m to SU 7392 9979 and north-north-westwards for 173m to SU 7382 9994 to a new line running from OS Grid Ref SU 7386 9973 northwards for 18m to SU 7385 9975, north-north-westwards for 194m to SU 7375 9988, east-north-eastwards for 81m to SU 7382 9993 and north-eastwards for 12m to SU 7382 9994.
The Creation Order made on 15 June 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding, as shown on the Order map:-
Aston Rowant FP1 running from Pleck Lane at OS Grid Ref SU 7387 generally northwards for 19m to SU 7386 9973.

The Extinguishment Order made on 30 June 2026, if confirmed as made, will extinguish, as shown on the Order map:-
The entire width of the South Moreton Unrecorded Footpath running from Footpath No. 6 at OS Grid Ref SU 5594 8800 east-south-eastwards for 22 metres to Mill Lane at SU 5596 8799.
The Creation Order made on 30 June 2026, if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding, as shown on the Order map:-
South Moreton Footpath No. 20 running from South Moreton Footpath No. 6 at OS Grid Ref SU 5594 8797 east-south-eastwards for 54 metres to SU 5599 8796 and north-north-eastwards for 47 metres to Mill Lane at SU 5600 8801.

Any representations about or objections to the Orders may be sent in writing to Rights of Way Legal, Oxfordshire County Council, County Hall, Oxford OX1 1ND or rights.of.way.legal@oxfordshire.gov.uk no later than 7 August 2026. Please state the grounds on which they are made. If no such representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, Oxfordshire County Council may confirm the Orders as unopposed Orders. If the Orders are sent to the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs for confirmation, any representations or objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Orders.
