SECTION 123(2A) of the LOCAL GOVERNMENT ACT 1972 (AS AMENDED) PUBLIC OPEN SPACE NOTICE
Notice is hereby given that Mole Valley District Council (the Council) pursuant to powers under Section 123 Local Government Act 1972, as amended, intends to dispose of open space by the regranting of two new 21 year leases of the clubhouse and multi use games area at Ashtead Recreation Ground, Barnett Wood Lane, Ashtead KT21 2BZ shown edged red on the plan (the Open Space Land) to Ashtead Football Club. The new leases of the Open Space Land are on the same footprint as the existing leases.
INSPECTION OF PLAN
A plan showing the Open Space Land edged red, is available for inspection free of charge Monday to Friday during usual business hours at the Council Offices, Pippbrook, Reigate Road, Dorking or you can request a copy of the plan by email to property@molevalley.gov.uk quoting the reference “Ashtead Football Club lease plan”.
OBJECTIONS
Any objections to the proposed disposal of the Open Space Land only should be made in writing to Andrew Heard, Senior Asset Manager, Mole Valley District Council, Pippbrook, Dorking, RH4 1SJ or by email to property@ molevalley.gov.uk by 5pm on 7th August 2026.
