What is happening?

A Public Notice for the purposes of Section 121 of The Charities Act 2011

Canal & River Trust acting as Trustee of The Waterways Infrastructure Trust (charity registration number 1146792-2) (the Charity) gives notice that the Charity proposes to: Dispose of part of freehold title (the air space above part of the Caldon Canal) where an overhanging lucam is situated and forms part of the adjoining building known as Hetty’s Tearoom, Froghall Wharf, Foxt Road, Froghall, ST10 2HL.

The airspace involved in the proposed disposal referred to above is owned by the Charity and is approximately shown edged red in the plan to this notice.

The plans to this notice can be viewed on the Charity’s web page http://canalrivertrust.org.uk/about-us/for-businesses/public-notices. Alternatively, a copy of the plans may be requested in writing from the address below.

The Trustee of the Charity has been approached with a request to grant these rights over the Charity’s property.

Any representations or comments in relation to the proposed transaction should be sent for consideration to the following address by no later than one calendar month from the date of this publication.
