Notice of publication statement of principles

Notice is hereby given that in pursuance of Section 349 of the Gambling Act 2005 and in accordance with The Gambling Act 2005 (Licensing Authority Policy Statement) (England and Wales) Regulations 2006, Norwich City Council (the Council) will publish on 02 July 2026 a revised Statement of Principles to be applied by the Council in the exercise of its licensing functions under the Gambling Act 2005. The revised Statement of Principles, which will come into effect on 1 August 2026 and last until 31 July 2029, was approved by the Council on 30 June 2026. The Statement of Principles can be viewed on the Council's website www.norwich.gov.uk. A hard copy will also be available for inspection during office hours, Monday to Friday at Norwich City Council, City Hall, St Peter's Street, Norwich NR2 1NH.
