OF SPECIAL CONTROL ORDER

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1009

TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING

(CONTROL OF ADVERTISING) (ENGLAND) REGULATIONS 2007

  1. The Secretary of State has approved an order revoking the Area of Special Control which affect the land in the Wards of Barnet Vale, Brunswick Park, Burnt Oak, Childs Hill, Colindale North, Colindale South, Cricklewood, East Barnet, East Finchley, Edgware, Edgwarebury, Finchley Church End, Friern Barnet, Garden Suburb, Golders Green, Hendon, High Barnet, Mill Hill, Totteridge Woodside, Underhill, West Finchley, West Hendon, Whetstone and Woodhouse, shown on the attached plan. Once the revocation order is in force the land to which the revocation order relates will cease to be subject to special control as regards the display of advertisements.

  2. The revocation order comes into force on 25 June 2026.

  3. A copy of the revocation order and the attached plan as approved has been deposited at 2 Bristol Avenue, Colindale, NW9 4EW and may be inspected there, free of charge, on any working day between the hours of 9.00 am and 5.00 pm, or online on the website of the London Borough of Barnet at https://www.barnet.gov.uk/planning-and-building-control/planning-policies-and-local-plan/withdrawal-area-special-control/
