Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, that the Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council propose to fix a table of fares for hackney carriages, as follows:

If you wish to object to the proposed table of fares, you must send the grounds for objection, in writing, or by email licensing@blaenau-gwent.gov.uk to me no later than 9th July 2026. 

If there are no objections or if all objections are withdrawn, the table of fares will come into force on the the 24th August 2026, or the date of the withdrawal of the last objection, whichever is the later. 

Any objections made and not withdrawn will be considered by the Council and a further date will be set, not later than 2 months after the 24th August 2026 on which the table of fares will come into force as decided by the Council with or without modification.
