Bradford - Hackney Carriage Fare Increase & New Tariff Structure

CITY OF BRADFORD COUNCIL HACKNEY CARRIAGE FARES

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Bradford Council, pursuant to their powers under Section 65 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976 relating to hackney carriage fares in the said City has made a variation to the table of fares as set out below.

Anyone wishing to object to this variation may do so before the expiry of fourteen days from the date of the publication of this Notice by letter addressed to Mr Steven Knighton, Regulatory and Compliance Manager, Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Licensing Services, Shearbridge Depot, Great Horton Road, Bradford. BD7 1PU. Alternatively, please email Taxi.testing@bradford.gov.uk, addressing your email to Mr Steven Knighton.

VARIATION TO THE TABLE OF FARES:

TARIFF 1

07:00 TO 22:00 Monday to Saturday

If the distance does not exceed

88 metres (96 yards) ........................................ £3.00 (20% increase)

TARIFF 2

22:00 TO 07:00 Monday to Saturday - All day Sunday/Bank Holidays/Public Holidays/24th and 31st December

If the distance does not exceed

80 metres (88 yards) ........................................ £3.00 (20% increase)

TARIFF 3

07:00 24th December at 18:00 TO 26th December, 26th December at 18:00 TO 27th December, 31st December at 18:00 TO 2nd January

If the distance does not exceed

80 metres (88 yards) ........................................ £4.50 (50% increase)

Waiting Time (For each completed 60 seconds

or part thereof) .............................................. £0.20 (100% increase)

TARIFF 4

Applicable only when 5 or more passengers are to be conveyed.

If the distance does not exceed 80 metres (88 yards) .... £4.00 (New Tariff)

For each subsequent 80 metres (or part thereof) ......... £0.15 (New Tariff)
