What is happening?

Pension Fund name: Edrington Group Pension Scheme (“the Scheme”)

Current Employer name: The Edrington Group Limited

The Trustees of the Edrington Group Pension Scheme (“the Trustees” and “the Scheme”, respectively) hereby give notice that the Scheme is to be wound up in accordance with its governing provisions. 

The Trustees wish to trace any persons who believe that they may have any right to benefits from the Scheme. Information in relation to the winding-up has already been sent by the Trustees to known members and beneficiaries.

You do not need to contact the Trustees or otherwise respond to this notice if you have received correspondence from the Trustees regarding the wind up of the Scheme, or if you have transferred your Scheme benefits to another pension scheme or arrangement. 

If you have not recently been contacted by the Trustees, please contact Hymans Robertson (the Scheme’s administrator) in writing by 31st August 2026 if:

•  you were, or are, a member of the Scheme, or believe you have any other interest, claim or entitlement in relation to the Scheme (whether as a spouse, civil partner, child or dependant of a deceased member, or a creditor of the Scheme); or

•  you believe your benefits were transferred to the Scheme from any other retirement benefit scheme.

Please provide full details of your claim and any benefits that you think you are entitled to, and include your full name (and any former names by which you may have been known), current address, date of birth, national insurance number, the period when you worked (if relevant) and any documentation supporting your claim. 

If you want to make a claim, you must contact the Trustees by the claim’s deadline of 31st August 2026. After this date, the Trustees will, distribute any remaining assets and wind up the Scheme. If you do not contact the Trustee regarding any claim within this period, the Trustees will not be liable for any claim you make regarding the Scheme.
