The Trustees of the Earls Colne Millennium Green Trust (charity number 1069724) intend to sell part of the Land on the north side of Halstead Road, Earls Colne to Essex County Council to facilitate improvements to the Bridge at the bottom of Stone Bridge Hill. The extent of the land to be sold to Essex County Council is shown coloured pink on the plan below.
It is likely the area coloured green on the plan will be licensed to Essex County Council for a temporary period to facilitate their works.

The Trustees of the Earls Colne Millennium Green Trust will also be holding a meeting at Earls Colne Village Hall at 7.15pm on Thursday 9th July 2026 to explain and report on the progress for any proposals for the provision of replacement property, which those living or permanently employed within the parish of Earls Colne are invited to attend to vote on such proposals and the above mentioned sale.
