DISPOSAL OF OPEN SPACE LAND
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that The Mayor and Burgesses of The London Borough of Bexley (the Council) in exercise of their powers under section 123 of the Local Government Act 1972 (as amended by the Local Government Planning and Land Act 1980) intend to dispose of the land known as the Boys and Girls Memorial Hall, Bourne Road, Bexley (the Disposal Land) by way of a lease together with such ancillary rights as may be required.
The Disposal Land, for the purposes of identification is the area edged red on plan number BVS8773, which extends to approximately 1,700 square metres. The Disposal Land is to be disposed by way of a lease for a term of 20 years.
The Disposal Land plan is available for inspection on request by telephoning the Council on 020 3045 4521 (ref 8216160) between the hours of 9:30am and 5:30pm Mondays to Fridays or by e-mailing: Legal-Conveyancing@bexley.gov.uk.
Any objection with respect to the proposed disposals must be made in writing and sent to: The Deputy Director Legal and Democratic Services of The London Borough of Bexley, Civic Offices, 2 Watling Street, Bexleyheath, Kent, DA6 7AT, to be received before 5:00pm on 03 July 2026 and should state the grounds on which they are made.
