DEVON COUNTY COUNCIL
(RESTRICTED BYWAY NO. 36 COMBE MARTIN) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
(FOOTPATH NO. 39 COMBE MARTIN) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2025
(RESTRICTED BYWAY NO. 40 COMBE MARTIN) DEFINITIVE MAP MODIFICATION ORDER 2025

Notice is hereby given that, no representations or objections having been received, Devon County Council has confirmed the above Order as unopposed. The effect of the Order as confirmed is to modify the Definitive Map and Statement for the area by adding:- a footpath from the county road at Woodlands, A399, in Combe Martin village, along a private road and through woodland to meet Footpath No. 2 at the southeast corner of the Glenavon Beach Holiday Park; a restricted byway along Kiln Lane (formerly Pig's Lane) between the county road, R511, Kiln Lane and the county road C460, south of the Manleigh Holiday Camp; and a restricted byway along the slipway between the county road, R503, Cross Street and Mean High Water on Combe Martin beach; in the parish of Combe Martin and administrative district of North Devon. Copies of the Order(s) and the Order map(s) may be seen free of charge by appointment with the:- Public Rights of Way Service, Great Moor House, Bittern Road, Sowton, Exeter, EX2 7NL; North Devon District Council, 38 Green Lanes Shopping Centre, Barnstaple, EX31 1 UL; Clerk to Combe Martin Parish Council; and online at www.devon.gov.uk/haveyoursay. 

A copy of the Order and the Order map can also be sent to you by post free of charge by contacting the case officer on 01392 383240. An application for any of the reasons stated in Paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 may be made to the High Court to quash the Order within 42 days of the date of publication of this Notice.
