NOTICE OF INTENTION TO VARY HACKNEY CARRIAGE (TAXI) FARES
NOTICE is hereby given that Stroud District Council intends to vary the rates, fares and charges to be paid for the hire of hackney carriages and will be below. A copy of this notice will be available for public inspection at the Council’s offices at Ebley Mill, Stroud during normal office hours. Anyone wishing to object to the proposed rates, fares and charges must do so in writing to the Licensing Manager, Stroud District Council, Ebley Mill, Ebley Wharf, Stroud, GL5 4UB or email licensing@stroud.gov.uk no later than Friday 3rd July 2026. If no objection to the proposal is properly made, or if objections made are resolved, the new rates, fares and charges will take effect on Monday 13th July 2026 or on such later date when unresolved objections are resolved.
