WELLESLEY RECREATION GROUND, WELLESLEY ROAD, GREAT YARMOUTH
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Great Yarmouth Borough Council (“the Council”) proposes to dispose of an area of land which consists or forms part of an area of deemed open space. The land to be disposed of, by way of Leasehold, is:
(1) Wellesley Recreation Ground, Wellesley Rd, Great Yarmouth NR30 1EY
It is proposed that the land to be disposed of, having an area of 3.18 ha / 7.86 acres (or thereabouts), shall be used for the provision of outdoor sports and leisure activities. The position and extent of this piece of land is shown for the purposes of identification only edged red on the plan marked “Wellesley Recreation Ground”, a print of which will be deposited for public inspection at Reception in The Town Hall, Hall Lane, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk, NR30 2QF from Friday 12th June 2026 to Friday 10th July 2026 and may be inspected during office hours. The plan can be provided on request by e-mailing propertyenquiries@great-yarmouth.gov.uk
Objections to the intended disposal must be made in writing, stating the grounds for objection, no later than 12 noon on Friday 10th July 2026 and emailed addressed to propertyenquiries@great-yarmouth.gov.uk. Please include the following within the email subject box:
