Notice under the Trustee Act 1925

The Steamship Insurance Management Services Limited Pension and Assurance Scheme formerly known as the Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Pension and Assurance Scheme

(the “Scheme”)

In line with Section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925 (as amended), the Trustees hereby give notice that the Scheme will soon begin the process of being wound up.

Any former employees of Steamship Insurance Management Services Limited and/or The Steamship Mutual Underwriting Association Limited who think they are or were members of the Scheme, or any person who has an interest (whether as a member, widow, widower or other dependant of a member or otherwise) or a claim against the Scheme, are required to write to Steamship Insurance Management Services Limited, Floor 6, 155 Bishopsgate, London, EC2M 3TQ or email bavinder.bamotra@simsl.com no later than 31 August 2026.

Interested parties will need to include their full name, current address, National Insurance number, dates of employment, confirmation of the benefits they believe they are entitled to and copies of any evidence confirming current or former membership of the Scheme.

After 31 August 2026, the Trustees will only have regard to the claims and interests which they have prior written notice and will not, in respect of the assets being dealt with, be liable to any person of whose claim has not been notified in writing prior to that date.

If you already receive a pension from the Scheme, or you have been contacted by the Trustees in the last twelve months, you do not need to do anything and can ignore this notice.
