On 27th May 2026, the Secretary of State for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs confirmed, as made, the above-named order made under Section 53 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981. The above named order, made on 14th July 2023, now confirmed, will modify the definitive map and statement for the area by recording a width of between 3 and 8 metres for footpath North Tidworth 11. A width of 3 metres from its junction with the A.3026 at SU 23895 49328 leading north east to SU 23926 49386, then width depicted as per Ordnance survey sheets Wiltshire 48.11 (parcel 152) and 48.7 (parcel 156a, from Ordnance survey grid reference SU 24392 51001 generally north, north east to SU 24451 51278 at its junction with path Collingbourne Ducis 21), 1:2500 scale, 1900 editions. A copy of the confirmed order and the order plan may be seen free of charge at Definitive Map and Highway Records, Wiltshire Council, County Hall, Bythesea Road, Trowbridge, Wiltshire, BA14 8JN from 9:00am to 5:00pm on Monday to Friday by appointment. A copy of the order and inspectors decision report is also available on Wiltshire Councils website on the rights of way section of website in the DMMO register, www.wiltshire.gov.uk/recreation-rights-of-way, under application reference D/2004/09. The Order became operative as from 27th May 2026, but if any person aggrieved by the Order desires to question the validity on the ground that it is not within the powers of Section 53 or that any requirements of Schedule 15 of the Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981 have not been complied with in relation to the Order, he or she may within 42 days from 4th June 2026 make an application under paragraph 12(1) of Schedule 15 of the 1981 Act, to the High Court.
