National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands) Plc Electricity Act 1989

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that Fisher German on behalf of National Grid Electricity Distribution (East Midlands) Plc has applied to the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero for consent under Section 37 of the Electricity Act 1989. Consent is being sought to install a new tower and downleads onto a new gantry, to supply a tee’d point of connection for a 49.9MW solar scheme at Land at Highfields Farm, Clifton Lane, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 0AQ.

Existing Tower AE33 is to be replaced with a new tower AE33R and downleads installed to a new gantry.

The new tower will be located at grid reference: E=424513.30 N=309057.85
The new gantry will be located at grid reference: E=424533.30 N=309057.72

SUCH REPRESENTATIONS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 28 days from latest publication.

Any such representations will be copied to the relevant planning authority and the applicant, unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not so be copied. If there is such a request, then the relevant planning authorities and the applicant will only be informed that an objection has been made but no details will be forwarded to them.
