PUBLIC NOTICE Section 16 Commons Act 2006

Proposed Deregistration of Common Land at: Radnor Forest Common (CL61) New Radnor, Powys

1. Notice is hereby given that Radnor Range Ltd has applied to the Welsh Ministers under Section 16 of the Commons Act 2006 for land forming part of the above mentioned registered common ("the Release Land") to cease to be so registered.

2. The land which is the subject of this application lies within a statutory safety zone associated with an explosives manufacturing site and is subject to permanent access and use restrictions on grounds of public safety. As a consequence, public access and the exercise of rights of the common are prohibited under the National Security Act 2003.

3. The application will not propose the exchange or provision of replacement land and will rely on exceptional circumstances as set out in section 38(6) of the Commons Act 2006.

4. A copy of the application form and accompanying documents can be inspected at Radnor Range Ltd, Unit 11 Broadaxe Business Park, Presteigne, LD8 2UH between the hours of 0930-1600 Monday to Friday (not bank holidays) until the 28 June 2026.

5. Any objections or representations in respect of the proposed deregistration should be sent in writing on or before that date to Planning and Environment Decisions Wales (PEDW), Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ or PEDW.Casework@gov.wales.

6. Correspondence sent to PEDW cannot be treated as confidential. They will be copied to the applicant and possibly other interested parties.

FIRST SCHEDULE (The Release Land)

430.59 hectares of land forming part of Radnor Forest Common (Register Unit CL 61), New Radnor, Powys. Land is 2.5km to the north of the A44 past Old Harley Dingle Water works and to the West of The Whimble.
