PUBLIC NOTICE
INTENTION TO DISPOSE OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE
Notice is hereby given under Section 123 (2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that the London Borough of Sutton at Civic Offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1EA intends to dispose of an interest by way of a lease exceeding seven years in land that is deemed Public Open Space. This land is located at the Former Sutton Common Bowling Club, Sutton Common Road, Sutton SM1 3HP.
The proposed disposal is to grant a new lease for the unit to be used as a children’s nursery.
A plan showing the area of land concern may be inspected at reception at Civic Office, St Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1EA between the hours of 10am and 4pm Monday to Friday.
Any representations in respect of this proposal should be made in writing and addressed to; Valuation & Estates Manager, Asset Management Team, Resources Directorate, Civic offices, St Nicholas Way, Sutton SM1 1EA or by email to asset.management@sutton.gov.uk by no later than midday Friday 12th June 2026.
