WAY FOR BRACKNELL FOREST BOROUGH COUNCIL Sandhurst Bridleway 12 Definitive Map Modification Order 2026 The above order, made on 19 May 2026.
if confirmed as made, will modify the Definitive Map and Statement of Public Rights of Way for the area, by upgrading the classification of the current footpath to a bridleway as shown on the plan accompanying the Order. The wording of the Definitive Statement shall be modified as provided below: Parish: Sandhurst. Bridleway number: 12
From: Ambarrow Lane W of Ambarrow Farm, NW, NNW and NW. (SU 8205 6273)
To: E end of FP20 Finchampstead at the parish boundary on the E side of Fisher's Copse. (SU 8163 6317)
The width of the right of way shall be 3.5 metres between points A to B and variable between 2.5 to 5.5 metres between points B to C as shown on the plan attached to the Order. The approximate length is 660 metres.
A copy of this Order and the Order map may be seen at Bracknell Forest Borough Council offices at Time Square, Market Street, Bracknell during office hours. Copies may be purchased at a cost of £3.00 per copy. A free digital copy of the Order may be requested by emailing Rights. Ofway@bracknell-forest.gov.uk or by telephoning customer services on 01344 352000 during office hours.
Any representation or objection relating to the Order must be sent in writing to the Bracknell Forest Borough Council Rights of Way Team (address as below) or by email to Rights.Ofway@bracknell-forest.gov.uk to arrive no later than 1 July 2026. Applicants are requested to state the grounds on which they are made.
If no representations or objections are duly made to the Order, or if any so made are withdrawn, Bracknell Forest Borough Council, instead of submitting the Order to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs may itself confirm the Order. If the Order is submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs any representations or objections which have been duly made and not withdrawn will be sent with it.
