Diversion of Part of Footpath LA 20/21, Fir Trees, Stoney Steep, Wraxall BS48 1JY
Public Path Diversion Order No.3
The above Order, made on 23 April 2026, under Section 119 of the Highways Act 1980, will divert part of Public Footpath LA20/21 in the parish of Wraxall and Failand within the District of North Somerset. From point A (grid ref. ST 48222 72125) running in a south easterly direction to point B then easterly direction to point B (grid ref. ST 48358 72093), a total distance of approximately 144m as shown by a bold black line on the attached Map PPO 207. To a footpath from point A (grid ref. ST 48222 72125) running in a southeasterly direction to point C (grid ref. ST 48319 72065) then running in a northeasterly direction to point B (grid ref. ST 48358 72093), a total distance of approximately 168m as shown by a bold dashed line on Map PPO 207. The proposed route will have a grassed surface and a width of 2.5m.

Any representation about or objection to the Order may be sent or delivered in writing addressed to the Natural Environment Team, North Somerset Council, Town Hall, Weston-super-Mare BS23 1UJ not later than 18 June 2026, quoting reference PGH/PPO207, stating the grounds on which it is made. If no representations or objections are duly made, or if any so made are withdrawn, North Somerset Council may confirm the Order as an unopposed Order. If the Order is sent to the Secretary of State for the Environment for confirmation, any representations and objections which have not been withdrawn will be sent with the Order.
