Notice of application to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water

Hills Quarry Products Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application, in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number SW/044/0057/002/R01 which authorises the abstraction of water from the underground strata comprising of sands and gravels at Woodsford Quarry, Dorchester, Dorset.

The variation applied for is to move the point of abstraction from National Grid Reference: SY 75175 89615 to the area contained within the boundary formed by straight lines running between the following National Grid References:

SY 75376 89870, SY 75519 89984, SY 75410 90107 and SY 75195 90053.
