LOCAL GOVERNMENT (MISCELLANEOUS PROVISIONS) ACT 1976, Section 63

RE-APPOINTMENT OF HACKNEY CARRIAGE STANDS/RANKS

Notice is hereby given that Sevenoaks District Council, in exercise of its powers under Section 63 of the Local Government (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 1976, proposes to Re-appoint stands for hackney carriages as detailed in the Schedule below. The Council has obtained the consent of the appropriate Highways Authority, Landowners and given notice to the Chief Officer of Police for the area in which the stand(s)/ranks are situated.

Maps and detailed descriptions of the proposed can be inspected free of charge at the Council Offices during normal office hours until the date specified below.

Any person wishing to make representation about the proposal should make them in writing on or before 3 June 2026. All representations will be taken into consideration by the Council.
