NOTICE OF PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF PUBLIC OPEN SPACE LAND AT RECREATION GROUND, NORTH BADDESLEY, SO52 9EA
Notice is hereby given in accordance with Section 123(2A) of the Local Government Act 1972 that North Baddesley Parish Council ("the Council") intends to dispose of an area of public open space being land at the Recreation Ground, North Baddesley, SO52 9EA.
The area which is proposed to be transferred to Hampshire County Council comprises approximately 600 square metres of land and is being transferred to create a cycle path along the boundary of the football pitches to connect with the existing cycle path running along Botley Road/ Castle Lane.
Copies of a plan showing the approximate position of the affected land may be inspected free of charge during normal office hours Monday to Friday at the Sports Pavilion, Recreation Ground, North Baddesley SO52 9EA by appointment with the Clerk.
By virtue of Section 123(2A) of the local Government Act 1972 the Council is required to give formal notice of its intention to dispose of public open space and consider any objections to the proposed disposal.
Any objection or representations regarding the proposed disposal should be made in writing to Joan Harrington, Parish Clerk, email: clerk@northbaddesley-pc.gov.uk no later than 12 noon on Friday 24th April 2026. The grounds for any objection should be stated.
