What is happening?

The Independent Pension Scheme (the “Scheme”) – wind up of the Scheme.

Notice under section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925

Pursuant to section 27 of the Trustee Act 1925, the Trustee of the Scheme gives notice that the winding-up of the Scheme has been triggered. The winding-up of the Scheme will be completed during the course of 2026. The Trustee requests that (a) any former employee of either of (i) Valeo Service UK Limited (formerly known as Valeo Distribution (UK) Limited, S.E.V (UK) Limited and CIBIE (UK) Limited) and/or (ii) Valeo Climate Control Limited (formerly known as Ringshare Limited) and/or (iii) Ringshare Limited (formerly known as Valeo Climate Control Limited, Delanair Limited and Formaserv Limited) and/or (iv) Lindustries (D) Limited (formerly Delanair Limited and Crawford Industrial Properties Limited) and/or (iv) Valeo Wiper Systems Ltd, or if such a person is deceased (b) the spouse or dependant of that person, who in either case is (or thinks they might be) entitled to benefits under the Scheme, (c) any person (or the spouse or dependant of that person) who was previously a member of the Scheme but who transferred their benefits out of the Scheme and (d) any other person who believes they may have a claim against the Scheme, provides written particulars of any such entitlement or claim to FAO: Kerri Astley, Valeo Service UK Limited, Heming Road, Washford, Redditch, Worcestershire B98 0DZ on or before 18 May 2026.

After this date, the Trustee will complete the process of distributing the assets of the Scheme amongst the persons currently appearing to be entitled to them and, in doing so, will have regard only to the claims of which they currently have notice. The Trustee shall then not be liable to any person whose claim has not been notified to them by the date stated in this notice. Notification is not required from persons who have received the recent correspondence from the Trustee which referred to the winding-up of the Scheme, as the Trustee already has details of your entitlement.

When contacting the Trustee please provide your full name, any former names by which you may have been known, your date of birth and National Insurance number.
