ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984
SECTION 46A (VARIATION OF CHARGES)

Notice is hereby given that West Northamptonshire Council, in exercise of its powers under section 46A of the Road Traffic regulation Act 1984, proposes to vary the charges payable for the use of certain on-street pay-and display parking places.

The parking places to which this Notice relates are designated by THE WEST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNCIL (VARIOUS ROADS, NORTHAMPTON) (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS AND ON-STREET PARKING PLACES) (CONSOLIDATION) ORDER 2018, as amended.

The proposed variation relates solely to parking charges. No changes are proposed to the location of parking places, days or hours of operation, maximum stay periods, or exemptions.

Inspection of Documents

A copy of this Notice and the schedule of varied charges may be inspected:

• Online at: www.westnorthants.gov.uk (search “Traffic Regulation Orders”); and

• On site, at each affected parking place, where a summary notice will be displayed in accordance with established practice for Section 46A variations.

Date of Effect: The proposed varied charges will come into operation on 10th April 2026, being not less than 21 days from the date of publication of this Notice.
