NOTICE OF COUNCIL TAX
NOTICE is hereby given, that on 26th February 2026, the Council set an amount of Council Tax in accordance with Section 30(2) of the above Act for the year commencing 1st April 2026, for each valuation band of domestic property in the respective areas of the Borough as shown below.

In addition, with effect from 1 April 2026, as set out in the Cabinet Report on the 11th December 2024 and the notice of Council Tax published in March 2025, the Council have determined that furnished properties will be charged a 100% premium (200% Council Tax) if they have not been used as a main home for more than 12 months. Commonly known as second or periodically occupied homes.
